Sarah Church

From Cayuga, Ontario, Sarah Church is a Canadian Singer-Songwriter  whose music delves into the depths of human experience. Her debut album, 'Letting Go', released on March 5, paints a poignant narrative of her journey through a failed marriage, navigating isolation, and finding hope through music.

'Letting Go' features 11 original compositions by Sarah Church, along with a cover by Canadian rock icon Matthew Good. The album was meticulously crafted, recorded by Amy King at Grant Avenue in Hamilton, mixed at Threshold Studio in the same city, and mastered at the Lacquer Channel in Toronto.

Following a successful CD release party at the Casbah in Hamilton, the album became available on all major streaming platforms worldwide. Sarah embarked on a tour, consigning copies of 'Letting Go' to independent record stores across Ontario, including Hamilton, Burlington, Kitchener, Guelph, and Kingston.

Sarah's live performances have graced venues throughout Ontario, from the iconic Horseshoe Tavern to The Old Town Hall Theatre in Waterford, Musiikki in Kingston, and Live On Elgin in Ottawa. She made a return to Hamilton for a show at the Corktown Pub and will later take her tour to Casa del Popolo in Montreal, QC.

'Letting Go' has resonated with audiences and received airplay on notable shows like Jim Marino's Freewheelin Folk Show on CFMU, Adventures in Plasticland on CKRW, and Canadian Spaces on CKCU. Additionally, Sarah was featured in a full-page article in the Hamilton Spectator by Graham Rockingham.

As she tours and connects with music enthusiasts, Sarah's goal is to share her story with as many Canadians as possible and explore the beauty of her country along the way

A new album is already in the works and she is preparing to release the first single from that project early in the new year.
